MenorahMate
It's nothing short of miraculous.
Chanukah is all about tradition. And if lighting the menorah is the most recognizable tradition of the holiday, then placing aluminum foil under the menorah follows closely behind. That's where MenorahMate comes in. It not only keeps the wax from ruining your table or your Grandmother's cherished tablecloth, it also has the Chanukah blessings printed right on it.
Will miracles never cease? With MenorahMate, apparently not.
Design
MenorahMate is available in two beautiful designs:
- Silver brushed silk vinyl with eight white starbursts; or
- Blue patent vinyl with two large dreidels and mini-menorah border
Both designs are 11 ½" x 15 ¼", large enough to "catch" dripping wax from most standard-sized menorahs.
MenorahMate has a soft backing to prevent scratches on tables and countertops.
And clean up is so easy
To remove wax from your MenorahMate, just place it flat in the freezer for a couple of hours until the wax hardens. Then just gently flex the mat where the wax has dripped and frozen and it will pop or chip right off. If multi-colored candles are used, it is possible that the wax may leave a bit of a stain on the mat. If this happens, try using a little acetone (nail polish remover). However, certain wax colors may not disappear completely.
